The TRSS is a small friendly Society concentrating on the recreational riding sector in Scotland and features approved centres such as ESR. This ensures quality assurance for our clients through approval by a recognised industry body.
The BMR is a Co-op owned by its members . ESR supports their local farmers and businesses for their products and services.
YouthBorders is a network of voluntary and community-based youth organisations across the Scottish Borders, supporting and promoting good quality youth work. Youth Borders are running training events and courses on behalf of ESR, providing funding opportunities for our youths , supporting us with various projects and always on hand for advice in general.
Our founding director became a fellow of this amazing organisation in Oct 2019 after being selected by an expert panel to take her place with the SSE Yorkshire and North East team for a place in the Start up programme. The course really helped the business begin it stages of scale ,growth and development as well as providing a great support network.
Our founding director Danielle Mckinnon is an accredited coach with the British Horse Society (BHS). Many of the staff and volunteers hold BHS qualifications. This is vital for our professional development, training days, a voice for animal welfare as well as our governing and exam body
Bavs (Berwickshire Association for Voluntary Services) is our local independent voluntary organisation, They support, inform and represent ESR at various events as well as providing training and workshops
We are proud members of the Association of British Riding Schools (ABRS). Our clients can be satisfied that we offer the highest standards of teaching, that your health and safety is a priority and that our horses and ponies are given the best possible care. We are now able to offer training and certificates for all ages covering stable management, equitation and coaching.
The Scottish Borders Social Enterprise Chamber has been vital in the promotion of ESR whilst supporting the development and growth of ESR.
